Kim Jong Un surrendered to the pressure of the international community because it was detrimental for the future of of North Korea. North Korea has been levied with huge international sanctions because they have negated any attempts in brining an end and eliminating their nuclear weapons program. United States president Donald Trump has certainly been the main leader who pressured Un into surrendering his stance. Going through with eliminating a nuclear weapons program will bring a whole better reputation and light to North Korea. It is known that there are people who are suffering in North Korea.

This is due to the sanctions that have been placed on the country. With Un surrendering to the demands of the international community, it is opening the door for a more properous future coming to North Korea. More and more trading partners will be willing to step up to the negotiating table and conduct business with Kim Jong Un and North Korea if he gets rid of his nuclear weapons capabilities. A promise of a better future is why Kim Jong Un surrendered to the demands of the international community.
