There are some women who are not too comfortable doing video chat online when they are not prepared. Women would like to make sure that they look good especially if they want to impress a few people. They do not want to speak with other people when they know that they are not looking their best.
If they would be told ahead of time that they are going to do a video chat, they may oblige. There are also some women who are concerned about their safety. They know that there are a lot of predators out there who may use the video chat and alter the video chat for other purposes.
There are several reasons as to why women would not want to videochat online. The main reason is for security issues. While a woman may be chatting with someone online and getting to know them, they might not be ready to take it to the next step as far as meeting face to face and seeing each other. If the person is a catfisher or setting up a fake profile, they definitely would not want to videochat. Then there is the world video piracy and hackers that are so prevelent these days.
These people are definitely known to setup fake profiles and if they are able to get a person to video or cam they can start doing their hacking work which in turn could mean trouble. Women not wanting to videochat is simply an issue of being assured that there is a safety barrier as far as protection against any kind of hacking or illegal intrusion. The said thing is that there are people out there who are trying to do this kind of harm.
