Coffee can be found in almost every restaurant and convenience store. This is because it has become so popular due to its taste being so good, but also the side effects of it. It is a warm drink that is soothing. People like to drink coffee in order to wake up from the caffeine. This causes people to both start drinking it at a young age in order to stay awake, but then they become a little addicted to it.
Many people will get headaches or get sick because they didn’t ingest enough caffeine that day. Since they were addicted to it, then they will yearn for it. Therefore, it is often served during all parts of the day and night because it is ordered all the time.
Oddly enough, coffee was not overly popular in North America until 18th century. There was a major historical event that changed things, though. In case you're wondering, it was the Boston Tea Party. This came about because the British monarchy had decided to tax the thirteen colonies without having representation in parliament.
The colonists dumped a fair amount of tea into the harbor and subsequently began drinking coffee in continued protest. Later on, coffee continued to grow in popularity as soldiers relied on the energy the warm beverage gave them. Coffee continues to be one of the highest traded commodities in the world, second only to oil.
