Hezbollah is a Shi'a Islamist political party and militant group based in Lebanon. It was founded in 1985 and is active till this day. It was founded by Muslim clerics and funded by Iran.

The objectives of the group was to drive the Israelis, the Americans, the French and their from Lebanon, in order to put an end to any colonialist entity in Lebanon.

Hezbollah’s paramilitary wing is the Jihad Council. It operates in Lebanon. Its political wing is Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Party in the Lebanese parliament. Muslim clerics conceived Hezbollah and funded by Iran primarily to harass the Israeli occupation.

It is a Shi’a Islamist political party and militant group based in Lebanon. It was formed of various radical Shiite groups. It is sponsored by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and armed with the ideology of the Islamic Revolution. The goal was the expulsion of Western and Israeli forces from Lebanon.
