The new God of War (2018) includes gods from Norse mythology. There are seven gods and they are as follows: Odin, Thor, Baldur, Freya, Magni and Modie, and Loki. Odin, also known as the Allfather, doesn’t actually appear but he is mentioned and he is responsible for sending his family after Kratos and Atreus.
Freya is married to Odin and she is the mother of Baldur. Magni and Modie are the sons of Thor. Norse mythology is also a religion that was practiced by the Vikings of Scandinavia during the age of the Vikings. It was also practiced by Germanic people.
