Love at first sight is a much popularized concept in television and movies. However, it is hard to fall in love with just looks. This looks like a physical attraction rather than love for the human. It is possible that you fall in love with a person you liked, but love at first sight looks more like an infatuation instead of an actual reality.
When it comes to love, tend to fall for the habits, for the talk, for the character and the internal makeup of a person. First sight only gives you an external look. The person could have a detesting character, but a beautiful face. This will not let you stay in love or infatuation for long.
I do not believe love at first sight really happens. I do believe you can feel strongly attracted to someone at first sight. But, because that initial attraction is primarily sparked by hormones, I would characterize it more as infatuation.
Also, an initial infatuation can grow into true love over time as you get to know the person and begin to share common values, feelings, and interests. You truly care for someone with whom you are in love and would do almost anything for them. The same cannot be said for someone you’ve just met and mistakenly believe you’re in love at first sight.
