Sound is around us every day. It is used in our ability to hear things. Whether we hear a person talking or hear a television show, what we hear is sound. Sound is an energy wave. This wave includes molecules that create vibrations.
Sound travels through many things, like water. Sound can not only be heard, but it can also be felt. Take, for instance, a rumble of thunder. We all know thunder is loud, but we also can feel it when it shakes the ground or the areas around us. Along with the senses, the sound is also fast when it travels.
