A formula exists for calculating the distance, speed and time of something. To calculate distance, you must multiply speed times time. If you want to find the speed of something, you divide the distance by the time. If you want to find the time, you divide the distance by the speed. In this case, the amounts were not only calculated, but they were also graphed. Each set of numbers was put as points on the graph.

Then a line was drawn to connect the dots on the graph. When you look at each pair of graphs, the same motion would also be in the same direction on the graphs. The only set of graphs that are going in the same direction are the graphs in answer choice 4.
