Sir Godfrey Hounsfield founded the Hounsfield Scale. It measures radiodensity. It has to do with the radio waves of an electromagnetic spectrum and the X-ray of an electromagnetic spectrum. Doctors will often use the Hounsfield scale to do a CT scan, which is a computed tomography scan. This takes an x-ray to see if there is something wrong with people.
For example, scans determine if a person has a disease or illness. The scale is based on individual substances, including air, fat, bone, hematoma, blood, and other fluids. The Hounsfield value of definite ten would likely represent the Ovarian cysts based on this scale. Water has a zero cost on this scale, and pus has a value of zero to positive twenty.
