A lot of people were shocked when Nevada was able to erase the 22-point deficit. There are times when this happens but the 22-point lead was truly a big deal. The fact that the team was able to get through it just shows that they have the determination to improve. They were able to do this within 11 minutes. .

During the second half of that game, the Bearcats were wore down and the Wolfpack of Nevada were able to capitalize. Another thing was that Nevada jumped out to an early lead and hold on to it. It defeated the morale and drive of Cincinatti and they simply were not able to recover.
Coaching also played a big role in this monumental comeback win. They were able to execute a trap defense at the end of the game that essentially neturalized any offensive threat that Cincinatti was able to muster. Nevada played with so much confidence and it was obvious that they wanted the win more than Cincinatti. Nevada outplayed Cincinatti and that was the reason that they were able to come back and win.
