From hair styles (mullets and beehives), clothing (shoulder pads and bullet bras) and footwear (genie slipper-style shoes with curled toe) there have been quite a few ridiculous fashion trends throughout history. In my opinion, the most ridiculous trend, which is still in existence today (2018) has been dubbed in fashion magazines and blogs as “underwear as outerwear”.

I’m afraid this trend is becoming a mainstream style since it’s on display everywhere. To me, it looks like the girls and young women forgot to put their clothes on. I really dislike going into a restaurant or store and seeing what looks like lingerie on a woman.

Sagging pants are perhaps the most ridiculous fashion style that has ever been created. These pats happen to sag way too low down the waist and looks absolutely ridiculous. In fact, in the New Jersey, people can be fined as much as $1000 as this fashion trend looks bad enough to be considered as an offense.

The sagging pants fashion started in prisons where inmates would purposely do it as a sign of being available for intimate activities with other inmates. A lot of youngsters today have adopted this fashion trend, which in my view looks most ridiculous of all.
