One consequence of the British and American victory in the French and Indian War was that a new spirit of independence arose, as the French threat disappeared. The American didn't adopt several French customs.
At the end of the war, the British took over Canada from France and Florida from Spain. France kept its West Indian sugar islands and the British gave Louisiana to Spain. The war provided Great Britain enormous territorial gains in North America.
The treaty strengthened the American colonies significantly. The American colonies grew closer to Britain Americans but didn't fear the Spanish.
