If you could only buy one thing tomorrow, then you should put a lot of thought into it. Sometimes, there are times when people do not have a lot of money. They may only have enough money to purchase one thing. They may have a long list of things to buy, but due to financial reasons they must decide what they are going to buy. If you had to figure out what to buy, I would first make a list, and then I would see which item I needed the most.
Sometimes, it is more important to buy two smaller-priced items as opposed to one large costly item. That is, I would buy the two smaller items if they were both needed as much as the larger item.
