Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who was born Ahmad Fadeel al-Nazal al-Khalayleh founded ISIS. He was born October 30, 1966 and he died June 7, 2006.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was a Jordanian jihadist, he ran a paramilitary training camp in Afghanistan. He was popularly known after going to Iraq to cause series of bombings, beheadings and attacks during the Iraq War. It was recorded that he had 5 children and 4 wives.

Zarqawi was killed in a targeted killing on June 7, 2006 by the United States Airforce while attending a meeting in an isolated safe house. 2 guided bombs were dropped on the safe house. 5 other people died as a result of the blast. According to autopsy reports, Zarqawi died an hour after the bomb blast due to a blast injury on the lungs.

The Islamic State of Iraq founder was Abu Musab al- Zarqawi. He was born in 1966. He died in 2006. He was a Jordanian jihadist who ran a military training camp in Afghanistan. He became infamous after going to Iraq and being responsible for a series of bombings, beheadings, and attacks during the Iraq war.

It was turned into al Qaeda in Iraq in 2004. His group used techniques that were unprecedented in the region for centuries, including terror tactics like the mass beheadings of civilians.
