Apple iPhone X is over rated. Many other smartphones offer most of the features on this phone for far less the price of this phone. Examples are the Samsung Galaxy 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix. Features like the edge-to-edge OLED screen and facial recognition have been available before the release of iPhone X.
Apple iPhone X did the match up with the level of publicity and marketing put out to the consumers. Apple labelled this phone as a groundbreaking phone with many new innovations and technology, knowing fully well that they are phones with similar innovations at lesser price. The phone is truly over hyped, Apple did not show many groundbreaking features as publicized.
The iPhone X by Apple has been overrated big time and the reason for this is that Samsung and their Galaxy 8 is very close to the features of the iPhone X but is able to offer that same technology at a much lower price. Another thing is that Apple failed in the marketing of the iPhone X and pretty much misled the consumer public. Apple was pumping up cosnumers saying that they had a groundbreaking product with new and innovative features. That was certainly the case. They even put up a release date. As with other Apple products in the past, that release date passed and the company was left looking kind of stupid. With a much hyped product such as the iPhone X, saying that there is a delay will give impressions that there could be something wrong. The consumer wanted something now and Apple was not able to live up to the expectation. The iPhone X is overrated because when it comes to the smartphone industry and market, there are competitors that can build similar products but they seem to be meeting their production deadlines where Apple did not with the iPhone X.
