There are some people who become confused with the difference between an anime series and a cartoon series. Some would say that anime is a type of cartoon. The main difference of anime with the other cartoons is that it is created in Japan. It cannot be denied that the anime is on a league of its own.
The background of the story, the various characters that are being used, and the humor are very different. A lot of people can appreciate both but there are also some people who are happier just watching anime series while there are also some who are perfectly happy with watching just cartoons.
