Undoubtedly, the New York stock exchange is the largest stock exchange in the world. It was founded on 17th May in 1792. It has a market capitalization of $19.223 trillion. Owned by intercontinental exchange, the New York stock exchange has shares that are held by investors from all over the globe.

Hence, this exchange is quite a competitive one with innumerable experienced investors putting their stakes on the most promising shares. The Japan Exchange Group is the fourth largest stock exchange in the world with a market capitalization of $4.485 Trillion. Nevertheless, in comparison to the rest, the New York stock exchange is definitely the largest one.
