Different people have different beliefs. Many people think that babies are not capable of thinking. They are immune to the surroundings and so are relieved of the thinking process till a certain age. This is backed by the fact that a baby’s brain is under development and cannot process the information that he hears and so cannot make actual thoughts out of them.
Hence, it is speculated that babies don’t think so they don’t have a special voice in which they might be thinking. Of course, these are all hypothesis backed by certain actions and anatomical facts. Babies could potentially be great thinkers, even better than adults.
According to many people, babies may not be capable of thinking at all if you consider the term ‘thinking’ to be equivalent to the way adults think. Adult people tend to think in terms of problems, past experiences, pictures, and words describing those pictures. Infants not having developed any language, are not capable of thinking in terms of languages.
Since the brain of an infant is not developed enough to absorb most of the information, most people say that they are not capable of thinking. The various parts of brain that perceive information begin to develop later as they grow.
