Which tasks should the Admin complete to meet this business requirement?

An Admin has created a Configuration Attribute on the Product A bundle, and now needs an Identical Configuration Attribute on the Product B bundle that saves its value into the same Quote Line field.
I have tried to replicate the answer on my CPQ trial and the answer apparently is wrong. I didn't get the expected result. The configuration attribute is not appearing on the product B once i'm configuring the bundle. I have tried to add as an option on the product A the product B and check the box on the configuration attribute but was not working. Instead i have Cloned the configuration attribute, added the product B and is working. So the same configuration attribute are now listed on the product B once i try to configure the product B. Could someone confirm my statement? Thanks.

The tasks that the Admin should do would be to check to apply to product options on the existing configuration attribute. Then you should make Product B an option of Product A.
