Where does Hester go to live after she is released from prison?

Hester stayed on the outskirts of Boston after her release from prison. She lived in her little cottage with her daughter, Pearl.

No one expected her her to wear the "A" but she constantly wore it on her chest.

From the little money she made, Hester gave to the poor and she also donated her some of her belongings to the poor.

She didn't live in another city in the Coley of Massachusetts, she didn't live within the city and she didn't live with Roger Chillingworth when she was released from prison.
