Lucky was played by Tupac Shakur in the 1993 movie called Poetic Justice, also starring Janet Jackson, Regina King, and Joe Torry. In the movie, Lucky's job is a postal clerk, along with his friend and the boyfriend of Justice's friend Iesha.
His friend Chicago, played by Joe Torry, invites the other three characters along on a road trip postal delivery from their home in Los Angeles north to Oakland. Lucky is working toward a career in music, while also raising his daughter Keisha. He and Justice fight throughout the movie but also find common similarities, and end up falling in love.
