Security is a concern at every Olympic Games. Security at the PyeongChang Olympics is no different. The additional security concerns may be related to the proximity of the games to neighboring North Korea. North Korea is facing increasing isolation and political pressure from the rest of the world. If North Korea wanted to display its power, the Olympics may be a way for them to do that.

Terrorists see any international event as a chance to get attention and cause major damage. This is why the Olympics have been targeted in the past and will likely be a target in the future.
