The manner in which the criminal sentencing of Larry Nassar, who is a sex abuser was conducted has resulted in a lot of controversy. It is said that the judge Aquilina, has damaged the integrity of the overall system of justice by allowing the media inside during the sentencing.

Moreover, saying things like “I just signed your death warrant” and by referring to Nassar as a ‘monster’ was wrong. In this way, Aquilina swayed from the tools of justice system by allowing her personal biases come in between no matter how bad the crimes of Larry were. This is my take on this issue.
