Why doesn't Apple make their own search engine?

Apple is well known for their own brand, especially the Apple laptop. Apple products are widely used around the world, they are making it big. One of the things I will like you to be aware of is that, Apple is not even competing with Google. Though, so many smart phones and devices make use of the Google Play Store, for example, Apple products can also use the Apple Store.

Google is widely known as a search engine, but they are not really into making devices like Apple. So, why Apple should be imitating Google? Though building a search engine this day is no big deal as such, but a search engine that would meet up with Google really has much work to do, and which might not even be successful. Aside all that, are you aware that Apple receives annual commission from Google? Yes! Google pay Apple nothing less than 3 billion dollars a year. Therefore, Apple has nothing as such to worry about.

Well, building a search engine today is no big deal. Even a high school student carrying good grasp in computer sciences and programming can create his own search engine and let it running. However, the main thing that stops apple from creating its own search engine is the unique Search Engine Ranking algorithm which Google uses.

Currently, this is the best search engine ranking algorithm that is out there which makes google the top contender among all search engines such as Yahoo, Bing, and MSN. Moreover, google puts constant effort in improving the search engine so that it stays above in the game!
