The United States suffers from every kind of natural disaster. The most common natural disasters on the west coast are earthquakes, flooding, and droughts. The middle of the country is more likely to see tornadoes.

The east coast of the United States see hurricanes, blizzards, and flooding along the coastline. Mountainous areas in the United States see avalanches. Islands in the United States are most susceptible to hurricanes and tropical storms.
