Bernard is liked, but not well liked. Bernard is a character from the 1949 play Death of a Salesman. The play was written by Arthur Miller and went on to win many awards including a Pulitzer Prize. In the game, Bernard is the son of Charley. He is a lawyer, which has made him very wealthy.
Willy, the main character of the game, used to make fun of Bernard for studying so much. Now that Bernard is successful, Willy his jealous of him and Charley. This is because his sons didn't compare to Bernard's success.
