How can you tell if someone has a fake accent?

Some people will use a fake accent in order to impress someone. Sometimes actors and actresses have to use a different accent than their normal accent because they’re playing a role in a film and that character is from a different country. So, the actors and actresses have to practice their accents so that they are believable. Sometimes it is easy to tell if someone has a fake accent.

First, if you know that person and you know where they’re from then you can tell they have a fake accent. Other times if you don’t know that person you may be able to tell if they have a fake accent. One way to spot a fake accent is to listen to the words that they’re saying because they will revert back to their own accent for a few of the words.
