Honking is something that people do when they are driving in order to get someone’s attention. At first when people first started driving they would honk their horns as a precaution to other people driving in on the roads. Now it seems that when people are honking it is for one of two reasons. One reason is to say hello to someone that they recognize in another car. The other reason is out of anger.
Many people will honk at each other if they did something wrong on the road. The only time I believe someone should honk their horn is to get another driver’s or a pedestrian’s attention because they are in harm’s way. Keep in mind honking is still considered to make people angry.
