Yellow lights typically mean that you need to slow down and come to a stop because the light is about to turn red. However it depends on how close you are to the line and the traffic light when the light turns yellow. If you are far away from the yellow light then you should start slowing down and come to a stop.
If you’re fairly close to the line when it turns yellow then you should go ahead and precede through the light. You are too close to the line to be able to come to a complete stop without slamming on your brakes. Also this may cause the cars behind you to run in to you and you could cause an accident.
