Scientology is probably the most expensive religion to practice. Recent stories about having to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to buy books, courses and E-meter audits have come to light by the broadcast of a TV documentary from the A&E docuseries called “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath”.
Not only do Scientology members have to pay for books and courses, sometimes they have to purchase them more than once as new editions are printed or changes and corrections are made to courses. In addition to books, Scientology church members must also pay for lectures, audio CD, pay a membership fee and donate to the church’s causes. The information Remini revealed in the docuseries was almost hard to believe.
