I think that veterans of the military armed forces can make a good police officer. They have the necessary physical training to be a military personnel so they can surely pass police physical training. Some people who are in the military have different jobs like working at a desk. They may not have the physical fitness that is needed to be a police officer but they had to have that training at some point in order to be in the military.
I would think that veterans would make good police officers because they have both the training and the strategy to fight criminals. They however may be lacking when it comes to dealing with people and interacting with them. They may not have experience that while in combat.
