Just as we have all witnessed a couple of changes in the past, there are certain new features on WhatsApp, which have changed how the messaging app used to operate. The inclusion of most of these features is so that the messaging app can upgrade in its performance. In the past, the video call could only accommodate four people or participants, but now the number of those who can participate has been increased to eight.
This means you can easily initiate a video call that will accommodate eight participants as against the old four participants limit. Another new feature on WhatsApp is a new sticker pack. This was added to make people more connected; most importantly, during this period that the world is fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
This was done in collaboration with the World Health Organization. You might have been seeing these stickers; they are designed to be educational, funny, etc. Another feature you would notice is the Chabot created by WhatsApp in collaboration with WHO so that users can always get important updates about the COVID-19 pandemic.
