While meditation can certainly have a lot of positive impact on a person’s mental health, mood, and the level of relaxation, the effects of meditation are quite overblown and overrated. People tend to believe that meditation is a magical process that can get you anywhere you want to with great ease.
However, the truth is that yoga will only relax your mind and elevate your mood allowing you to be more motivated to do what you want to. It won’t magically increase the capacity of your mind to absorb a semester worth of information within a single night or a short period of time.
