How do I respond to people that say “God hates homosexuals”?

Well, people love to think that they understand God. However, they forget that they are the product of the Holy Spirit themselves and not the other way round. Hence, one should tell people to stop acting like they understand god’s decisions and plans.

Now that research into genes is pointing towards the fact that homosexuality could actually be a genetic factor, it rises certain questions. One can always ask the haters that why god would create a homosexual for the way he is, if he truly hated them and wanted them all to punish? After all, he is kind. This might spark a thought.
