Any act of controversy can destroy someone’s career. When Michael Jackson was younger, he made great music, people didn’t think anything about him. He was quiet and shy so he kept his life private. However, when people started to hear about how Michael Jackson enjoyed being around children instead of adults, they started to worry about him and thought less and less about his life and music and instead about the problems that Michael Jackson was going through.

People would rather hear and talk about the controversial issues instead of the music. News would rather relay information about a celebrity’s problems. This would make more people watch their news station. So, they tell more about Michael Jackson’s issues instead of the songs he wrote.
