There were many different things that made Michael Jackson so popular with the public. First, he was a child star and when child stars continue their success, then they seem to be more popular than those who achieved fame later in life. Jackson grew his popularity from such a young age. His while family was popular and then he seemed to write songs and albums that were more popular than any others especially in the 1980s and 1990s. I think his album Thriller also made him more popular with the public.
Also, any problems that the person has means that they will become more popular with the public even if it is in a negative light. Even Jackson’s death was popular and he continues to be popular to this day.
