Baseball seems to be America’s pastime because it has been around for many years and will probably be around for many more. Football seems to be more popular at this time than baseball, but that doesn’t mean that it was America’s pastime because it is still too modern. People would still consider baseball to be the sport that their fathers taught them. There are certain things related to America like apple pie and baseball that will always remain true to America.
They can’t be changed no matter how much it changes or if more people support another sport. Many of the greatest athletes were known in the past for being a part of baseball. Since football is so new, people can’t discuss the history of football much.
