There are many teams in the leagues for all sports that end up being hated. There is really no definite reason that these teams should be hated and by so many people. However, they are. In the Major League Baseball, the New York Yankees are hated by the general public. Much of this has to do with their successes. For instance, they have won many World Series Championships over the past many years.
Plus, the spend an obscene amount of money on their players’ salaries. This causes many of the other fans to have such a dislike for the Yankees. Other reasons may have to do with the way that the New York Yankees flaunt their wins and money in front of everyone.
