Most people think that if they can run fast then they can participate in any sport that requires running. However, that is usually not true. The sprinters like those who participated in the Olympics would be one of the fastest runners in the world. However, running can be different in different sports. This means that there is a certain way to run in different sports. Plus, the runner would have to know how to bat the ball because there is more to baseball than running around the bases.

However, if the sprinter were to only be a runner for injured players or for other reasons, he may not get to play very often. Then he would most likely lose interest because he would really be doing nothing.
