In 1991, the Soviet Union dissolved due to a coup d’etat by people who wanted changes in their country. Then on Christmas day of 1991, the leader of the country at that time Gorbachev decided to step down as president. After signing many documents among 12 countries, nations or areas, the Soviet Union became Russia. It was Russia before it became the Soviet Union.
Immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union, trade and the economy were affected. It didn’t just affect now Russia’s economy and trade, but it affected other countries’ economy and trade. Crime and culture changed as a result of the collapse of the Soviet Union. People may have fled and some of those people may have committed crimes in the other countries.
