If the aliens lived on a planet and the planet exploded or could no longer house the aliens, then the aliens would be forced to seek help from another planet. They might find that the Earth is a better place to live. Even if the planet was livable, they might run out of certain resources like water, air or something that is necessary.
Just like us earthlings, we would go to another planet if we ran out of water or food. We would want to survive. Therefore, the aliens would also want to survive, so they might come to Earth and look for the resources that they are lacking. They may come for the food and water and may have to use force to get it.
