It does seem that the aliens in the movies have different technology than what we have here on Earth. That can be good because we could learn from these aliens about technology that we don’t have and how we can create it and use it on Earth. We may never have been able to have that technology if we didn’t learn from the aliens.
However, I don’t know if aliens have superior technology, but just different technology. I believe that people on Earth have technology that the aliens probably don’t have on their planet. From the movies, it is implied that the aliens have better spaceships that are more equipped with weapons than what the militaries have today. They also seem to communicate better.
