Los Angeles and New York City are the best places to get noticed and get work in the movie industry. However, people have gotten noticed in different parts of the world. Although, it does seem that people who make it big in the industry may start out acting or modeling in different areas of the country, but they end up moving to Los Angeles because most of the work in located there.
Many producers work in Los Angeles, but there are other ways to get noticed by Hollywood producers and that is to be accessible. Sometimes, movies are made in different locations, and you will need to travel to these different sets and locations. Therefore, traveling to these different places may help so that you can be an extra in a film, but relocating to Los Angeles is best.
