Is there discrimination in the fashion industry on basis of color?

In many industries there is discrimination based on many different things like race, gender, and sexual orientation. However, discrimination is caused by individuals who choose workers based on something that is not merit, talent or experience. They do this because they are prejudice towards certain groups of people. In the fashion industry, it seems like there is a mix of different races and nationalities as models.

In the fashion designing industry, it also seems like there is a mixture of different types of people who are prominent in the business. However, there are times when discrimination is shown; it just might not be occurring throughout the fashion business industry. It is certain people who exhibit this type of behavior towards others.
