For me Marvel is better. Their movie is really funny and original. And here is why I think so:
1. The stories are better connected
The superheroes of Comic Publishing Marvel all live in the same fictive universe. That means: every hero could hit every other character. There are also some unusual connections. For example, the mage Doctor Strange, the superhero team Avengers and the space force Guardians of the Galaxy had to fight side by side in the movie "Avengers - Infinity War" against the evil. Although there are also overlaps in DC - such as the Justice League or the Suicide Squad - but existed in the earlier comics many different parallel universes. Since you cannot cope as a layman.
2. More original super powers
Special skills are the alpha and omega of superheroes. Ant-Man from the "Avengers" comics can shrink and enlarge with his suit, Scarlet Witch moves objects via telekinesis, and Mystique from the "X-Men" comics takes on any shape. This is much more original than the DC superpowers: Superman is very, very strong, The Flash runs fast, and Aquaman rides a seahorse. Yawn.
3. Sympathetic superheroes
Spider-Man is a hero to the public, but privately he is Peter Parker, who has problems with his homework, writing a thesis paper and dreams of his classmate Mary Jane. A normal teenager so. Even the god Thor appears human when he quarrels with his brother Loki. Also, the characters do not shy away from stealing a silly spell in the most inopportune moments. This relaxes both the comics and the movies extremely. In the DC world, on the other hand, everything looks artificially bleak with an uplifting pathos.
4. Better costumes
Superman is not one of the fashion highlights of DC with his jumpsuit and underpants over his pants. Batman and The Flash look like full-body rubber suits, as if they had shopped in the same store. By contrast, the Marvel heroes are more in keeping with the times. Iron Man wears a high-tech suit - which also has a cool design. Although there is also a hero in a rubber suit with Captain America - but that also comes from the forties, the retro look is fine.
