It is still possible to make money through ad revenue on YouTube, it just works a little differently now. Advertisers will pay YouTube for any videos that are viewed, but will not pay if a video is skipped. There are other ways to make money through YouTube other than ad revenue however. If you have a product or service, you can still use YouTube for to promote these goods and services.
You can link your YouTube videos via hyperlinks or by mentioning another website in your video. For example, link your YouTube, Pinterest, Etsy, and/or Wordpress accounts to maximize your audience and diversify your reach.
