Which group were Davey, Peter, Michael and Mickey in?

Relatively close to the Beatles, the Monkees became popular too. They were from England and performed more clean cut songs. They also had a television show where they acted in the sitcom plus sang songs from their albums. Davey Jones was known as the leader of the group and sang. He was a teen idol. The others were Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz.

Davey Jones died several years ago and Peter Tork died recently, but the other two are still alive. Since their fame, the Monkees have joined back together to play as a reunion of the Monkees. They seemed to have gotten along very well. Therefore, they are active from 1966 until 1977, but then they came back together in 1976 and many years later.
