Many people have allergies. This means that they are allergic to it. If they eat it or even get near the thing that they are allergic to, they could get sick or even die. Some people have mild cases of allergies which means that they will only have a minor reaction to the item ingested, but some people have a strong reaction to their allergy and must carry medicine to take in case they come in contact with the item that they are allergic to.
Probably the most common allergy is peanuts and peanut butter. Some people can’t even be in the same room with the stuff or there will be problems with it. Olivia in Are You Livs Plus 1, she is allergic to shellfish.
