Putin was born to a working-class family. Due his love for spy novels and TV shows, Putin join KGB security intelligence agency after completing Law at Leningrad University where he worked as a foreign intelligence agent. It is during KGB that Putin got to experience that and this was his defining moment of his life. In 1991 Putin resigned form KBG and joined St. Petersburg where he worked for city mayor (his former law professor) Anatoly Sobchak.

This is where he got his political techniques from Sobchak. After he lost his mayor position, Putin moved with his family to Moscow where he joint FSB AGENCY which replaced KBG where he rose to top position and later appointed by Boris Yeltsin to be President of Russia in year 1998.
