The answer is a big NO! In fact, according to statistics, ninety-nine percent of infant mortality rate has declined as a result of administration of vaccines worldwide. However, short time after the vaccines have been administered, the individual may experience some short-term side effects like mild swelling at the spot of injection, fever, joint aches or unusual fatigue.

Any serious side effects ever witnessed though extremely rare are the severe allergic reactions due to uniqueness of an individual’s immune system. The side effects are however outweighed by the benefits of vaccination. The ultimate objective of the medical research is to reduce; not to avoid the rate of death. Amazingly, larger percentage of this role is played by vaccination.
